In this context, the aluminium capsules produced are 100% endlessly recyclable, ensuring a responsible use of resources. Furthermore, for its foundry production, Contital uses aluminium with a total recycled content of 80%, calculated in accordance with ISO 14021:2016. This calculation includes only the amounts of pre-consumer and post-consumer material as defined by the standard.

We promote the aluminium recycling: it means an enormous reduction of emissions and energy consumption. Aluminium can be recycled repeatedly without losing its properties. In fact, estimates suggest that around 75% of all aluminium ever produced is still in use today.
Recycling aluminium requires 95% less of the energy needed to create new aluminium from primary resource, significantly reducing its environmental impact. In addition, recycled aluminium can be used to produce new packaging applications or other valuable aluminium products without any loss of its quality.
